Alexis and Andrew’s winter wedding at Wrightsville Manor kept things warm with their boho-inspired florals and inviting energy. Despite it being less than 48 hours until the new year rang in, temperatures were around 70 degrees giving it a perfect coastal feel. Since we met during their engagement session, we had been counting down the days until we could reunite at the wedding, setting the tone for a day filled with so much excitement and love.
Alexis’s bridal details were elegantly simple yet stunning. Her dress, while modest, featured a draped back and removable sleeves, complemented by a long lace-patterned veil and stylish Bella Belle heels made a bold statement. With the help of her mother and favorite girls, she got dressed before sharing a heartfelt first look with her bridesmaids, her father, and later, Andrew. Their private vows beautifully conveyed their excitement to embark on this next chapter together (we were all teary)
Wrightsville Manor, a venue with inherent beauty, received a touch of boho and coastal accents for the day. The custom surfboard welcome sign from Moonlight Bay Co. added a coastal vibe to the decor, while the exquisite florals from Design Perfection blended pampas grass, dried palms, babies breath, white and pink florals, creating an elegant boho ambiance.
Andrew and his groomsmen opted for tan suits, a unique choice that paired wonderfully with the bridesmaids’ emerald green dresses. This departure from the traditional look added a distinct and gorgeous touch to their overall look.
The ceremony featured heartfelt readings from loved ones, filled with laughter, stories, and an abundance of love for the guests celebrating with them. During cocktail hour, the couple enjoyed some downtime while we captured reception details. Melissa with Knot Too Shabby Events executed everything flawlessly. The neutral and white dance floor complemented the boho colors, and the long banquet table shared by Andrew and Alexis, adorned with a real wood fireplace, added to the cozy ambiance—a highlight of winter weddings at Wrightsville Manor.
Before saying our goodbyes for the evening, we had to take the opportunity to capture another quintessential Wrightsville Manor winter wedding photo under the softly lit oak swing tree, tying a perfect bow on an unforgettable day.
